Mastery Monday - Skill learning or skill building

Monday Mastery stats.  Just an update on what I worked on for this week's Monday Mastery.  Let me know what you chose to do and how it went.

Beyond the Teal: The Architecture of a New Adventure

For years, teal has been my go-to color. Its sea-like qualities called to me like the shining moon over the night ocean. It can be calm and quiet or fun and playful, and for a long time, it represented the version of me that I preferred the world to see. It was my aesthetic "safety," a beautiful surface that kept the deeper, more turbulent truths tucked away.

But as I began to build the Architecture of my Legacy, I realized that the moonlit surface wasn't the whole story.

Letting go of the teal felt like letting go of a mask or an outer layer. I struggled with the rebrand at first. There is a comfort in the "calm and quiet," but the journey I am on now is an adventure of developing a voice of intention, courage, and inspiration which requires a different kind of light.

I’ve traded the moonlight for a blazing fire lighting up the darkness.

The new palette of Blaze Orange and Matte Black is about being authentic to the creative work. It’s the high-contrast reality of a life lived with no more secrets, fears or reasons to stay hidden.

This website is the new footprint. From the deep-sea lore of Hoequim to the raw verses of Melodious Truth, through the creative outlets in various artistic disciplines the teal has receded to let the true colors of the journey shine through.

The moon over the ocean is beautiful, and the teal color dancing on the waves in the moonlight is captivating, but I’m no longer afraid of the dark depths beneath it. It's time to create and explore.
